Here we go again with a second helping of awful movies in the romance world. Since there are many romance films out in the world, we can’t forget about them. Here are five awful films that will make you not believe in romance and cry tears of joy that you are not in love with these sappy plots.

Cocktail (1988)

Via: Buena Vista Pictures Distribution

Cocktail is one of those films that you think will be fun to watch and it turns out to be awful. You will need a lot of alcohol to watch and survive this film. It stars freakin Tom Cruise. This film is about a cocky kid who wants to be rich but when his job search fails, he becomes a bartender and goes to business classes during the day. This film has a few okay scenes but pretty much it is the same boring tale of cocky dude falls in love, messes up, tries his hardest and makes it in the end. It’s one of those films that you see coming and not entertained. I still love Elisabeth Shue

Sex and the City 2 (2010)

Via: Warner Bros

I love Samantha Jones. She is an icon and is my favorite character. Sex and the City 2 is awful. I went through watching the show but damn I did not need to watch the films. The first one was meh but this one was beyond dumb. Just because a show is a hit and did a decent job for the first film doesn’t mean it needed a second film.

Sex Tape (2014)

Via: Sony Pictures Releasing

There are probably many people in the world who have made a sex tape. The kinky act of recording yourself getting it on. In a film that stars Jason Segel and the beautiful Cameron Diaz, the film is a bore that no horny person would want to watch. A film where a married couple makes a sex tape only to find it gone in the morning. The film had few to zero laughs with a boring plot and unwanted scenes.

Down to You (2000)

Via: Miramax Films

After watching this film, you will not be down for anyone. This film is awful, terrible, boring and so many other things that it is sad. Starring Freddie Prinze Jr. and Julia Stiles, they play young lovers who meet in college and go through the ups and downs of a relationship. The story is bland and the standard romance movie that really doesn’t do anything for you.

Because I Said So (2007)

Via: Universal Pictures

“Because I Said So” is a sentence that everyone uses when they are irritated with someone who is questioning them. My mama definitely said those words to me. When it comes to this movie, you can disregard the sentence because there is no need to listen to anyone in this film. Who would think that Diane Keaton would be nominated for a Razzie. This film is not funny, boring and a complete waste of time. Move on from watching this film because I said so.
