Here we go again with some classic horror movie quotes. There are plenty of horror quotes out there but this time around we have some special ones. This time around we don’t want to play a game, there is someone here and why is Johnny here. Get ready to watch these great movie quotes.
“I want to play a game.” – Jigsaw, Saw franchise (2004-Present)
There are some games that are not worth playing. In the Saw franchise, games are taken to the billionth level where almost no one survives. Jigsaw is a man who has never killed anyone but wants people to see how worthy their life is. He places people in traps that he has designed. Using his clown, he appears on a tape with his voice muffled and tells the victim that he wants to play a game. The quote is terrifying as it seems so innocent but when you are strapped to a reverse bear trap, its not innocent like monopoly. The iconic line has become one of the best horror movie lines of all time.
“They’re here…” – Carol Anne Freeling, Poltergeist (1982)
It’s bad enough moving into a new home. When that home has ghosts in it, you reached critical levels. Poltergeist is a film where a family moves into a house and soon find out that it has ghost living in it. You have to watch the movie to figure out why. On the first night or maybe second, Carol Anne, looks at the TV that has static. After some whispers and a beam shooting from it that rocks the house, she drops the quote. Don’t know about you but it is time to get out and dump some holy water on that house.
“Here’s Johnny!” – Jack Torrance, The Shining (1980)
Some would jump at the chance of overseeing a hotel during the winter. Nothing but space and peace. The Shining is one of those films that will make you second guess that decision. This film has a few quotes but the most iconic is delivered by the legendary Jack Nicholson. Jack Torrance has lost his mind and ready to kill his wife. He takes an axe to the door and when he pops his head through it, delivers the frightening line. Word has it that Nicholson improvised the line.
