There are many quotes from the movie Friday, that you can probably say but the one that stands tall above them all is “Bye, Felicia.” In the classic black film, Friday, Craig, who is played by Ice Cube, is chilling with Smokey. Felicia comes and asks for money and in a calm, dismissive attitude, Craig drops this classic line. The line now lives on for people you really don’t want to deal or be bothered with. “We Got a Problem Here?” – Doughboy, Boyz n the Hood (1991)
Director John Singleton’s legendary debut comes in hard and real about three young African American men growing up in the mean streets of South-Central Los Angeles. In the scene, Ricky is bumped by Ferris, a member of a rival gang. As Ferris squares up, Doughboy rolls up and drops the iconic quote. The quote is hard and it makes you want to say it to anyone who is eye ballin you.
“Is this your King?” – Erik “Killmonger” Stevens, Black Panther (2018)
Black Panther is one of the best superhero films ever! Michael B. Jordan’s character, Killmonger, is one of the best villains to ever be shown on screen. Dude has the best quotes in the film. When he challenges and faces T’Challa for the throne, he whips that ass the first go around. When he is whippin that ass, he drops this iconic line. Any who thinks they are a king better watch out because Killmonger will question it.
