THE 30TH POSTING FOR THE SERIES!!! That is 150 films with this series excluding all the other genres. I can’t believe that I hit and introduced over 150 awful films, and I think I only scratched the tip of the iceberg. Okay, for this posting I wanted to get some sci-fi films that didn’t inspire or hit the mark. I wanted to hit some fantasy films that were so bad, you would become pissed from watching them. I am excited to present to you what I have found. Have fun!

Independence Day: Resurgence (2016)

Via: 20th Century Fox

I remember sitting in the theaters watching the first Independence Day with Will Smith when I was a little kid. I remember holding my breath during the first battle scene and the whole speech that Bill Pullman made. That was a great movie. Well, 20 freakin years later, a sequel decided to drop on the world. This one completely sucked ass. The world has seemed to come together to and use the alien technology for safety. Well, shit gets real and the aliens come back like their were no defenses. The film is terrible that lack no emotions, had zero jokes like the last film and the action scenes were terrible, nor was there an epic speech. This is why some sequels suck ass.

Infinite (2021)

Via: Paramount+

I remember watching the trailer for this film and was a little hyped. It was during the pandemic, and I wanted to see it because it seemed interesting. Well, when I finally watched it, I was beyond disappointed and felt like this film should be reincarnated into a better film. Marky Mark, what was this? I know it tried to have a film that examined reincarnation, but it was blah. Some scenes were good, and the visuals were fun to watch but the story and action was blah. This film was a waste of time and should be buried deep.

Pinocchio (2022)

Via: Disney

Disney has been on its live action movie trip from their beloved animated films. Some have been great, and others have been WTF. One of those live action films that were WTF and terrible was the live action version of Pinocchio. I hate to say it and Tom Hanks is one of my favorite actors, but this film was bad. The film has the visuals effects to make you go wow, but the rest of the film will make you want to ask the blue fairy to maybe have you stay a wooden puppet. There was no soul in this film, nor did it really need to be made.

The King’s Daughter (2022)

Via: Gravitas Ventures

I don’t know what is happening with the film industry and storylines, but it seems to be getting worse as the years go on. This is a fantasy film that really didn’t need to be made. How about this, we have King Louis XIV who wants to go on a quest for immortality. This leads him to capture and steal a mermaid’s life force because why not. Let’s add in an illegitimate child that discovers this secret. I feel like when a film gets stuck, they seem to go with immortality and a mermaid. Pierce Bronsan, this was a low for you.

Jurassic World Dominion (2022)

Via: Universal Pictures

I LOVE Jurassic Park. The first one is one of my all-time favorite movies. I can recite that film word for word. Every time it is on, I will sit and watch it. There have been quite a few sequels in the franchise and the dud of the group was the last one called Jurassic World Dominion. Bringing back the original cast did not help and the storyline was awful. I was highly disappointed in this film, and it almost ruined the entire franchise for me. Don’t even do a reboot. You know what you should do? Let this film franchise go extinct. Let it die out. It already has a great first movie that holds up today. Nothing wrong with moving on to other things.
