Here we go again with another great series. I once again have found some awesome Disney quotes. Disney has a talent for dropping great quotes. We have some quotes from a talking clock, the Emperor of China and an advisor who hates their emperor and sidekick. Get ready for this round of awesome quotes and after you are done, pull the lever!
“Well, there’s the usual things: flowers… chocolates — promises you don’t intend to
keep…” – Cogsworth, Beauty and the Beast (1991)
Cogsworth is one of the greatest characters and he drops this line as a sense of reason. When Beast is falling for Belle and he wants to do something special, Cogsworth first two suggestions was spot on until he gets to the third option. It’s funny because in a relationship, there will be promises you probably don’t intend to keep. Wise knowledge by Cogsworth and he says is so nonchalantly.
“You don’t meet a girl like that every dynasty.” – The Emperor, Mulan (1998)
The Emperor was speaking straight facts when he said this quote. Whether it is a man or woman, there are times when the one comes along, and you have to go after them. After Mulan saves everyone and China, the Emperor walks up to Li Shang and drops this line after saying some elegant poem line. Pretty much, when a woman that is extraordinary comes along, don’t pass up the chance.
“Pull the lever, Kronk! Wrong lever!” – Yzma, The Emperor’s New Groove (2000)
Yzma is one of the best villains and characters in Disney. When dealing with an idiot in Kronk, her brain and annoyance are at an all-time high. This is a funny scene and quote where she asks Kronk to pull the lever but somehow it is the wrong lever. This quote has lived on in Disney history of some of the best quotes ever. I feel your pain Yzma.
