Welcome back to the gift that keeps on giving. This time around is the 39th posting of this series. Oh, do I love bad movies, and they seem to come out in droves now. You could probably name any year and come up with ten to fifteen movies from that year that were absolutely terrible. I have a nice little mix of movies this time around that is pretty bad.

The Nude Bomb (1980)

Via: Universal Pictures

Sometimes movies from TV shows shouldn’t be made. Get Smart was a funny television series starring Don Adams as Agent Maxwell Smart. It is a spoof of the secret agent genre. After 5 years, a movie was made with Agent Maxwell Smart being called back into action to stop the dreaded KAOS. What is KAOS going to do? Detonate a bomb that destroys only clothing. Yup, you read that right. What needed to happen was a bomb destroying this film and everything associated with it. It was such a waste of time and unamusing to even view.

The Adventures of Ford Fairlane (1990)

Via: 20th Century Fox

Oh, Mr. Andrew Dice Clay. A name that goes way back and brings up controversial memories. Known for his brash persona known as “The Diceman,” he was big in the 90s. During that time, he made a shit movie as title character Ford Fairlane, a “Rock n’ Roll detective in LA. This film was downright dumb to watch with a loud man, unfunny script and pain to watch.

The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas (2000)

Via: Universal Pictures

The Flintstones, meet the Flintstones. Some critics think this film is better than the first, but the bar of the first film was pretty low. The original was good in my eyes but I was a kid when I saw it and it had Halle Berry. The sequel was straight up bad. This is a sequel but also a prequel as it is set before the events of the first film and shows how Fred, Barney, Wilma and Betty all meet. All the cast was replaced with new people, and it wasn’t entertaining. Even prehistoric Elvis couldn’t save this film.

Marmaduke (2010)

Via: 20th Century Fox

Sometimes a comic strip shouldn’t be made into a movie. Marmaduke was a well-known comic strip from 1954 to 2015. Towards the twilight of its run, a movie was made. Not just any movie. A movie that was awful, questionable and some of the worst humor ever spoken. With an all-star cast consisting of the likes of Owen Wilson, Lee Pace, Judy Greer, William H. Macy, Steve Coogan, Sam Elliott, Fergie, George Lopez, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Emma Stone, Kiefer Sutherland, and Marlon Wayans, you would think that this film would be decent. Yet, this film fails in story (a dog and cat traveling from Kansas to Orange County. It fails many of the actors and it fails everything good.

The Wrong Missy (2020)

Via: Netflix

I have texted the wrong person. I have been on a bad first date. I have met someone I actually like and thought was awesome. I have never invited someone to a company retreat and actually invited the wrong person. This film was a lazy comedy that needed a grenade to blow it up. If it wasn’t for Lauren Lapkus’ performance, this film would probably have been the worst movie of the year. Lauren Lapkus didn’t deserve a nomination for the Razzie with this dumpster fire of a film.
