Today’s entry comes from the romantic drama, Monster’s Ball.
From the clip provided by Lionsgate Films and Movieclips comes a slap that is pretty quick. Hank Grotowski and his son, Sonny, are prison guards working on the prison’s death row. Before the execution of Lawrence Musgrove, Sonny has a “mini” breakdown and vomits while giving Lawrence his last walk. After the execution, a very visibly upset Sonny is in the bathroom, trying to calm down. Hank burst through the door on a mission to get his point across.
As you can see, Hank delivers the “Do You Know What You Did” Slap. A perfectly timed and executed slaps across the back of Sonny’s head. Gave a nice sound effect. This was followed by two more slaps that were effective but less thrilling.
