From the clip provided by Movieclips comes a slap that makes you look insane. It comes from the arrogant, hot headed main character Jake LaMotta. Jake had a really bad temper in this film and slapped multiple people. In the scene, Jake takes his anger out on his brother.
Slap #1: “You Better Hit Me” Slap
The first slap is when Jake asks his brother, Joey, to punch him. Joey is reluctant at first but gives in. He punches Jake multiple times until Jake gives him a brotherly love tap slap. Now that first slap was okay but the second one was a OH DAMN slap. Jake definitely slapped some taste out of Joey mouth because the look on his face was enough. Jake’s hand was quick and fast. It was a sneaky slap.
