Today’s entry comes from the messed up, psychological thriller, Black Swan
From the clip provided by Fox Searchlight Pictures comes a slap but more like a smoosh of the hand to the face in what we will call “Shut Your Mouth” Slap.
Black Swan is a film that follows a perfectionist ballerina who completely loses her mind as she tries to embody the essences of the Black Swan from the famous and iconic production of Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake ballet.
Once again, this was more of a smoosh than a slap, yet it was still a pretty good smoosh. It was on the level of James Cagney in his iconic film, The Public Enemy. Nina’s mom straight up put her hand over Nina’s face and told her to shut up in an angry and forceful way. Did it shut Nina up? Nope, not in the slightest bit but she made her point until Nina ran off to get it on with her rival.
