Today’s entry comes from the film noir crime drama, Key Largo.
From the clip provided by Warner Bros comes one of the BEST slaps I have ever seen. A triple slap that was a thing of perfection. We call this the “Old-School Gangster” Slap.
Key Largo is a film starring Humphrey Bogart, Edward G. Robinson, and Lauren Bacall. The film revolves around a war veteran who travels to his fallen friend family hotel to honor his memory who died saving his life in WWII. While helping the family get ready for a hurricane, they soon realize that a mob of gangsters has taken over.
Once again, this is one of the best slaps in all of film history. There was a slap earlier in the film but this one blew the film away. Rocco looks at Frank, sizes him up and delivers three hard but fast slaps. That hand was lethal and fast. That slap was so good that even Nora was like, “Oh damn.”
