Today’s entry comes from the epic sword and sorcery film, Conan the Barbarian.
From the clip provided by Universal Pictures comes a double slap that is a teaching moment. We call this the “You Going to Learn Proper Technique” Slap.
Conan the Barbarian is a film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and James Earl Jones. The film revolves around a barbarian named Conan whose world is destroyed and his people massacred by the Snake Cult led by the evil sorcerer Thulsa Doom.
This slap would’ve been fierce towards others but to Conan it was a mere pinch. In the scene, Conan is learning proper sword technique from a world class mentor. Conan misses a stance and his mentor walks up to him and delivers two quick slaps to his chiseled face. The slap was good for technique and delivery. I will say the kick to the other student made up for it.
