Here we go again with some great anime quotes. If you love anime as much as I do, you know some of these quotes. Just like famous movie quotes, the world of anime also has great quotes. Get ready to clinch your butt cheeks while eating a potato chip and laughing at people who think they can make you sweat.
“So Clench Your Butt Cheeks Kid! And Yell This From the Depths of Your Heart, SMASH!” – All Might, My Hero Academia (2016)
What does it mean to be a hero? My Hero Academia comes through with having the world where everyone has a quirk that is their superpowers. The show follows Izuku Midoriya, a boy who was born without a Quirk. Midoriya dreams of being a superhero like his idol All Might. When All Might gives him the chance, he takes it. While going through the admission process, All Might delivers this line. All about clenching those butt cheeks!
“I’ll take a potato chip and eat it!” – Light, Death Note (2006)
Death Note is a phenomenal anime. Well, I liked it all the way up until the second half. It felt unneeded and the villain should’ve won but that is my opinion. When Light first gets the notebook, he starts killing criminals until he catches the eye of the legendary detective, L. The cat-and-mouse game begins between the two. In the legendary scene, Light is being watched by L. He hides a camera in a chip bag. The scene is dramatic and the delivery of the line is amazing because it is dramatic and over the top. Where is my bag of potato chips?!
“Hmm, am I perspiring? No, it’s just the rain. These fools could never make me sweat.” Obito – Naruto: Shippuden
There has been a lot of big talk in anime BUT one of the biggest flexes in anime history has to be the line dropped by Obito. The line above goes hard in the paint. When you are fighting the big boys as is Naruto and Kakashi and other, Obito hesitates and questions himself until he realizes it is raining and to say that no one makes you sweat in the heat of battle is not a boss move but a GOD MOVE. That is straight up confidence on the highest of levels and I will start training to be like Obito. Straight up gangsta!
