We are in the start of May, and I am excited for the next two weeks of movie quotes that I have to offer you. As you know the beginning of May or May 4th is Star Wars Day. I am happy to present to you some of the best Star Wars quotes. Star Wars has a lot of quotes. From the mind of Geroge Lucas, Star Wars is one of the most iconic brands in the world. I am happy to present some quotes from the legendary characters.

“May the Force be with you.” – Everyone, Star Wars franchise (1977-Present)

Via: Walt Disney

This is by far the most memorable and iconic quote of the Star Wars franchise. This is the quote that started it all. If you love Star Wars, you have quoted this quote probably over a million times. Everyone says it from good guys, bad guys and Ewoks. No matter what side you are on, you are tapped into the Force, and you always want it with you. It is usually said as a goodbye when someone is about to go through something. All hail one of #8 all-time greatest quotes from AFI list of 100 greatest quotes. Also, when a quote is so big-time, it gets its own date with May 4th.

“I love you.” “I know.” – Princess Leia and Hans Solo, Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back (1980)

Via: Walt Disney

In romance films, you get the I love you back and forth. Not in Star Wars. Star Wars takes it in another direction. The love story between Princess Leia and rebel Han Solo is a great side story as these two like each other but play it hard to get. Things come ahead in The Empire Strikes Back when the group is captured and Han is about to be frozen into carbonite. The pair kiss and before Han is frozen, Leia says I love you. Rather than saying it back, Han goes out like a freakin BOSS and says, “I know” Straight up gangster.

“Do. Or do not. There is no try.” – Yoda, Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back (1980)

Via: Walt Disney

Yoda speaks that truth with his yodaisms. Yoda has more sayings than anyone I know but this is probably his most quoted and iconic. When training Luke, he asks the young Jedi to lift his X-wing out of the swamp using the force. When Luke says he will try, Yoda in a disappointed tone drops this famous line. Yoda is like, give it your all and stop being down on yourself. Yoda ain’t got time for no excuses.
