You know I love gangster films. I love the outfits, cops and robbers but also the rags to riches story. Who wouldn’t want to go from broke to living in a lavish house with cars. If you have to take a few people out, then so be it. This time around I have put together another round of great quotes from gangster films. From robbing backs to pulling me back in to having the world and everything in it.

“This here’s Miss Bonnie Parker. I’m Clyde Barrow. We rob banks.” – Clyde Barrow, Bonnie and Clyde (1967)

Via: Warner Bros

Bonnie and Clyde were some of the biggest criminals during the Great Depression. They did go on a killing spree and robbed banks. Starring Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway in the title roles, the pair did a phenomenal job in this film. During the scene with the quote, after being nice a farmer who lost their farm to the bank, the pair allow them to shoot up their home. Clyde introduces himself with this sly quote and lets them know they rob banks which brings a smile to everyone.

“Me, I want what’s coming to me……… The world, chico, and everything in it.” – Tony Montana, Scarface (1983)

Via: Universal Pictures

Scarface is an awesome film that shows the rise and fall of drug kingpin, Tony Montana. After working as a dishwasher, Tony kills the Columbians where he makes his breakthrough in the drug world. While driving with Manny after seeing his sister. When Tony says he wants what is coming to him and Manny asks what, homeboy dropped this epic line. Everyone should want the world and everything it has in it. I sure as hell want the entire world and everything it has to offer.

“Just When I Thought I Was Out, They Pull Me Back In.”Michael Corleone, The Godfather: Part III (1990)

Via: Paramount Pictures

This quote needs to be idolized more. It seems with any line of work where you try to get away and do something else, the old job seems to pull you right back in their shit. One of the most common themes in gangster films is the idea of going legit. Who wants to keep doing the same thing repeatedly from cops and bribes when you can do something else. In the world of the Godfather, an aged Michael has sold most of his empire and given millions to charity. When he realizes some of his men are trying to get one over on him, Michael makes the decision to get back in the game. Pacino expertly delivers this line, showing his frustrations. Also, the line was imitated many times in the excellent show, The Sopranos.
