Let’s switch it up a bit. For these wonderful quotes, I wanted to go the gangster route. For the next few quotes, here is the start of some of the best gangster movie quotes of all time. There will be a ton of them but here we go with the straight up classics!

“I’m gonna make him an offer he can’t refuse.”– Vito Corleone, The Godfather (1972)

Via: Paramount Pictures

One of the best film ever made, the Godfather film series has a ton of classic quotes. The Godfather ranks among one of the most influential films in cinema and there is always a quote someone remembers. The legendary Marlon Brando played Vito Corleone in this film as the Godfather. When one of his people comes with a request, he drops the legendary and go to line for the entire series. Brando delivers the line with such ease but authority and confidence that you would be scared to cross him but also feel like he has everything under control. The line is simply sensational.

“As far back as I can remember I always wanted to be a gangster.” – Henry Hill, Goodfellas (1990)

Via: Warner Bros

Maybe one of the greatest gangster films ever made after the Godfather, Goodfellas is one of the best. We all have played cops and robbers before. How many of us tried to talk like a gangster from the Bugs Bunny cartoons. The quote at the beginning of the film said it all. I know I wanted to be a gangster. This quote will forever live on in movie history.

“Say hello to my little friend!”- Tony Montana, Scarface (1983)

Via: Universal Pictures

Scarface is the film that the black community and rappers look up to. Hell, even I have a Scarface poster in my apartment. A rags to riches story starring Al Pacino as the title character. Pacino plays Tony Montana, a Cuban refugee who goes from nothing to having the world in the palm of his hand by becoming one of the biggest cocaine dealers in Miami. Towards the end of the film as enemies surround Montana, he grabs a freakin grenade launcher and high as a kite on drugs. As assassins touch his door, Pacino delivers this epic line that will live on in movie history. You can see how confident Montana was and thought nothing could stop him. Classic!
