Today’s entry comes from 2009 American blaxploitation action-comedy film, Black Dynamite!
From the clip provided by Apparition comes a slap that will make you laugh because it is so insane and out there. We call this the “First Lady” Pimp Slap.
Black Dynamite centers on former CIA agent and the hardest man on the planet Black Dynamite! Dynamite, Dynamite! Black Dynamite learns that his brother was killed and now he must avenge his brother’s death while cleaning the streets of a new drug that is destroying his community. Michael Jai White is hilarious in this film that parodies but also pays respect to blaxploitation films.
The slap at hand is when the first lady tried to shoot Black Dynamite and get a slap for the ages. Now the slap is over the top and the flying back effect adds to it being hilarious BUT it had pure art form. Black Dynamite loads up for this slap and puts his entire body into. It wasn’t just a slap it was a backhanded pimp slap that sent home girl into a cabinet.
