General George S. Patton was a one of the most known and controversial generals during World War II. He was a man who was built and bred for war. Yet his fiery temper, attitude and style lead to many disagreements with his higher ups. One thing can be stated that the man knew how to lead and win a battle if needed be.
What we call the “Coward” Slap. The slap was one that actually got General Patton removed from battle. While sitting in the hospital to look over his men, he sees a soldier that is shell shocked. Patton unleashes two quick slaps with his glove. There was no palm to face which will lose points but he comes back and knocks the solider helmet off with great force. Once again the man was intense.
