Today’s entry comes from the sports drama, Undisputed.
From the clip provided by Miramax comes a slap that is disrespectful in the prison cafeteria. A double slap that was a thing of surprise and intimidation. We call this the “You Aint’ No Champ” Slap.
Undisputed is a film starring Wesley Snipes and Ving Rhames. The film revolves around a former heavyweight champion named George “Iceman” Chambers is sentenced to prison time for rape. While in prison he learns of undefeated prison boxing champion Monroe “Undisputed” Hutchen. As the tension rises, a mob boss that is an inmate, arranges for these two to fight for boxing supremacy in the prison.
In other movie slaps, this one was tame but you can tell it stung. Not one of the best but it sent a message. Chambers rolled up on Monroe with his big ass ego. You think they were going to trash talk but Chambers took the disrespect too far as he threw down his orange and in two quick hits, bam, bam, slapped Monroe and said he was the champ. Oooooh the disrespect!!
