Here we go again. I love finding awful films that make you wonder why they were ever made. We have some pretty good ones here on the comedy side of things. Finding bad movies never gets old and you will find some of these a headscratchers. I would say enjoy these films but in reality, you wont. Let’s get into these non-comedic films.
Holy Man (1998)
In a string of awful films starring Eddie Murphy, this is another one that doesn’t need to be watched. Murphy stars as an eccentric television evangelist who turns a shopping experience into an religious experience. The film is a complete waste of time and no religious gods could save it. You will be more entertained watching clouds float by and using your imagination.
The Love Guru (2008)
There is absolutely NO LOVE for this film. The Greek Goddess, Aphrodite, would be beyond disappointed in this film. Even she couldn’t help this film. When the Guru Pitka is tasked with revitalizing the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey team, you know this was going to be a long and slow death of the brain. Myers, what were you doing? This film wasn’t funny, entertaining or worth anyone’s time. When you win 3 Razzies, that includes Worst Picture, you know you are pretty bad.
Bewitched (2005)
The TV show, Bewitched was funny and a joy to watch. I used to watch it on Nick at Nite. The movie on the other hand definitely doesn’t leave you bewitched. A film starring Nicole Kidman and Will Ferrell alongside an ensemble cast, the film has very, very little laughs and has no direction. Within the first ten minutes, you know it will be a disaster of a film. Watch the TV show and move on.
The Master of Disguise (2002)
The has got to be one of the worse movies ever made. If you even care to watch, it is about a man who is trained to become a “Master of Disguise” when a master criminal kidnaps his parents. A film that tries it hardest and best to be funny and fails so bad. You ever have a friend that thinks they are funny but not? This is that film. The infamous turtle scene still makes me cringe every single time.
Year One (2009)
I remember watching this film and my head starting to hurt from the stupidity of the whole film. Starring both Jack Black and Michael Cera, you would think it would have something funny to offer but it doesn’t. Pretty much its about two hunter-gatherers who travel to the city of Sodom after being banished from their tribe. The problems the two run in doesn’t make any sense and the jokes fall flat.
