I LOVE this series!! Who would’ve imagined that we hit posting #24 in this series? It is like Christmas, the gift that keeps on giving. This time around we have some great or shall I saw some awful movies that have graced the BIG screen. We have a remake of a film, a film about delivering mail, a film about dolls and an awful mystery. Have fun with these films.

Bratz (2007)

Via: Lionsgate

Before the amazing and iconic Barbie film came out, there was the Bratz film. A film based on the fashion dolls. Let’s say that this film failed miserably. It revolves around a group of four teenage girls trying to make it in high school. Sounds like Mean Girls but worse. This film was so bad that you probably couldn’t find it. Maybe it is on Tubi, but you are better off watching Barbie anyway. The message in that film is a lot better.

Point Break (2015)

Via: Warner Bros

Here we go with another remake. The 1991 version of Point Break was decent as it had the whole bank heist. There was on need into making a remake. No one in the world asked for a remake and yet here we are with one. The only good thing about this film are the action sequences. Besides those, you might as well keep it moving with this film.

Babylon A.D. (2008)

Via: 20th Century Fox

This is one of those films that had maybe 5% potential of being a good movie. It stars Vin Disel as a mercenary called Toorop. He takes a job escorting a woman from Russia to America. On the way he learns that she is way more than what she is perceived. The film has a few action scenes that might leave you a little intrigued but the bad dialogue, shitty plot and the whole movie might make you fall asleep.

The Postman (1997)

Via: Warner Bros

Did anyone ask for a film about a postman? Nope but somehow, we got a film about a postman who became a national hero. This was the time where Kevin Costner had flop after flop after flop. The mail wasn’t delivered while watching this film. Set in a post-apocalyptic world in the year 2013, the United States dissolved, and the film never explains what happened but there was a plague and technology has disappeared. Yup, you can already tell it’s a shit show. Costner plays a drifter who takes a USPS uniform and somehow delivers mail that brings hope. The film is freakin long, boring and you will have better entertainment sending an email.

The General’s Daughter (1999)

Via: Paramount Pictures

This is one of those films that really had the potential to be good but feel short. It fell so flat that it is sad. The story revolves around the mysterious death of Captain Elisabeth Campbell, who is the daughter of Lieutenant General Joseph “Fighting Joe” Campbell. Military Police Investigator Chief Warrant Officer Three Paul Brenner must solve the case. The film was decent but, in the end, it felt like performances were wasted and the direction was all over the place. The ending where they show the death of the general’s daughter was over the top and unnecessary.
