My last two awful movie posts have been a general overview but this time we are back at it with horror films. I thought it would be hard to maybe find some awful horror film with my people but nope, definitely found them easily. Some of them I thought I forgot about until I found them. Let’s take a trip down the horror avenue of bad movies.

Leprechaun in the Hood (2000)

Via: Trimark Pictures

If you didn’t think the Leprechaun series could get even crazier, the Leprechaun officially drops in the hood. Yup, the hood. In L.A. of all places, when three hoodlums find the leprechaun’s lair, that is full of gold, a golden flute and the leprechaun himself in statue form as he is trapped by the magical medallion around his neck. The three steal the flute and takes the medallion freeing the leprechaun. Chaos ensues as the leprechaun kills anyone who gets in his way. Never thought this series would go to the hood but it did and the sad part is, they made a sequel.

House on Haunted Hill (1999)

Via: Warner Bros

Sometimes remakes don’t need to be made unless they are a bomb ass Netflix series. Way before the Netflix series, House on Haunted Hill was remade after the 1959 version. This film tried to up the scares and failed miserably. The House on Haunted Hill became a laughable, CGI infest film that had more confusion than scares. Someone should’ve burned this film rather than bring it to the big screen again.

Gothika (2003)

Via: Warner Bros

Halle Berry’s great acting skills couldn’t save this film from the plot and acting. Berry plays a renowned psychiatrist who is possessed and finds herself locked up in the very penitentiary that she works in. She learns that she killed her husband in a brutal way. The film has a lot going on that made no sense. Penelope Cruz is crazy in this film and Robert Downey Jr. plays the reasonable one. Once again, this film could stay locked up deep in a prison cell.

Demon Knight (1995)

Via: Universal Pictures

I remember watching this film as a little kid and I remember there were like two films. I could be wrong. When I was a little kid, I thought this film was really strange. I loved the Tales of the Crypt series and the creepy stories that was told. I wasn’t impressed with this film. Billy Zane was pretty good but the film had really bad dialogue, laughable deaths and mind-numbing story.

Fallen (1998)

Via: Warner Bros

I didn’t like Fallen. Love Denzel Washington but wasn’t impressed with this film. Since I am older, maybe I need to give it another try. Washington plays a police detective in Philly, who is murders committed by a copycat killer. The film goes into this strange world where an evil , serial killer’s soul jumps from host to host by a simple touch. The ending was pretty good but once again, I wasn’t impressed.
