Romance is in the air with these awful films. You have to love a romance film that brings you a story that is laughable, so much love and appreciation for the opposite sex. Do I have some films for you in this post? I’m talking about ones that are catfishing people, a rip-off of a beloved Christmas film, something to do with love, leaving someone at the altar and being in Hawaii. Here is to some films with love in the air.

The Perfect Man (2005)

Via: Universal Pictures

There is no such thing as the perfect person especially a man. Perfection is a lie at that. Yet, in this film starring Hilary Duff and the beautiful Heather Locklear, the goal for a perfect man is high. In the film, a teenage daughter is fed up with constantly moving because her mom moves every time, she has her heart broken. What do you do, the teenage daughter makes an imaginary secret admirer who talks to her by email. You want to talk about catfishing, this film is major catfishing. It had a few laughs but overall, the characters seemed to be perfect in their own ways and the story was meh.

Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009)

Via: Warner Bros. Pictures

Back when Matthew McConaughey was making all these romantic comedies, he starred in this film and boy was it a rip-off. This film is pretty much a Christmas Story just rolled up with the main character being a womanizer who is visited by his dead, womanizer uncle who warns him that he might end up like him but will be visited by three former girlfriends as ghosts. This was one of the laziest ways to write a story. Should of made it during Christmas and made it a Christmas movie. Lord help us with the lazy ass Hollywood writing. The film wasn’t even that good.

Accidental Love (2015)

Via: Millennium Entertainment

Sometimes movies don’t need to be made. Sometimes love can stay far away. Accidental Love is a film that makes you want to say, naw to love. I also swear that romance films get a lot of A-List stars. In this film a waitress gets a freakin nail lodged into her head causing unpredictable behavior. I think if you have a nail in your head, you will either die or have strange behaviors but you do you. The waitress goes to D.C., meets a young senator and sparks fly. Can’t make this up and you see why the film is blah.

Aloha (2015)

Via: Sony Pictures Releasing

This film is not worth watching and you might as well say Aloha to it. The biggest gripe with this film is the complete whitewashing of the film. Will Hollywood never learn? Probably not but, oh well. A film where a former US Air Force Officer returns to Hawaii after being hired by a former boss. The Hawaiian culture and people were left out of this film, and it is a complete shame. The story isn’t even that good but hey, if you think of Hawaii, don’t think of this film.

Forever My Girl (2018)

Via: Roadside Attractions

I’m not the biggest country music fan. I might have two songs that I like, maybe three if I’m pushing it. I recently watched Forever My Girl, and you might as well not think anymore. It follows a big-time country musician who keeps his old flip phone because of a message on it from a girl he left at the altar eight freakin years ago because he wanted to make it. He decides to go home and give love a chance again. You can leave this film alone because it wasn’t interesting. I think it’s because the actors weren’t into each other and that it felt like a waste of time.
