Here we go again with some of the worse superhero films to ever grace the screen. In a world where superhero films are the standard, I can’t believe we are up to the 10th entry of this series. That is freakin 50 bad superhero films. I didn’t even think there were over 50 films. Here we go for the 10th entry!
Thunder Force (2021)
Thunder Force is one of those films that tries to do everything right and it doesn’t get off the ground and soar through the air. Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer try their best but the laughs wasn’t there nor this film particularly interesting in terms of story. This is one of those films that will get lost in the abyss of superhero films.
Max Steel (2016)
How can a superhero film suck ass so much. This has to be the worse superhero film ever made. It is the bottom of the barrel and should be the standard of what not to make. A film where there is zero imagination and a bore to watch, one will be better suited with wrapping a towel around their neck, finding a mask and making your own superhero.
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance (2011)
If Ghost Rider could judge himself in this film, then he would send himself to the abyss while laughing. This film was really bad. The script was weak as hell and a complete waste of time. What the hell was going on with the CGI? Did you have a kid make it and was like, this is good. Nic Cage, you were out there but I also didn’t expect anything else. Sometimes movies don’t need a sequel. Sometimes the first film is enough and then everyone should move on.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009)
I love Wolverine. He is one of my all-time favorite superheroes and X-Men. When Hugh Jackman first appeared as him in X-Men, I was hyped. Jackman is the only one who can play the hero. When they decided to make an origin story, I was excited. What we got was a terrible film that was full of bad effects and other things. Hey, by the time Logan rolled in theaters, this film was an afterthought.
Madame Web (2024)
I didn’t think there was a film as bad as Morbius but ladies and gentlemen, we have one that even tops that one in the awful department. I couldn’t believe that a movie so bad could top Morbius and Sony Pictures accomplished it. The origin story of Cassie Webb that explores her origins and building the Spider-Women force was straight up bad. None of this movie made any sense and Sony should’ve called upon Cassie Webb to see into the future because they would’ve said don’t make it.
