Video game movies almost get a bad reputation with being some of the worst films ever made. It’s quite difficult making a game that might take a person 10 hours to complete in a two-hour movie. What am I saying, studios will continue to make video games into movie? Here we go again! Welcome to list two of awful video game movies.

In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale (2007)

Vie: Freestyle Releasing

I have no idea what game this film came from and it might be for the best. This film has given all sword and sorcery or fantasy genres such a bad name that it is pathetic. I don’t know what king you honor but it has to be the king of trash. The performances are meh, the dialogue is laughable and the storyline is beyond crazy that your mind would hurt just thinking about it. Honestly, your eyes might melt out of your head.

Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li (2009)

Via: 20th Century Fox

The original Street Fighter film is one of those films that’s bad but good. It’s a video game movie but this shit right here was W.T.F. Chun-Li is my go-to character in Street Fighter. She was so OP in Street Fighter 2 video game that two hits from her legs and you were done. This film disrespected her and all the other characters. I like Kristin Kreuk but what the hell was this? Honestly! Don’t get me started on Chris Klein. Whatever you do, don’t watch this film and play the video games.

Hitman: Agent 47 (2015)

Via: 20th Century Fox

Hitman: Agent 47 is not one of those films that is a good video game movie. Hell, it is probably one of the worse ones around and this is actually a reboot of the 2007 version. If you are looking for an awful, mind-numbing, boring ass characters, and what the hell is go situations, then look no further then Hitman: Agent 47. Hitman the video game had more personality than this film.

Double Dragon (1994)

Via: Gramercy Pictures

Oh, Double Dragon, how did I use to play you in the arcade. I remember when this film came out and I thought it was so cool. How naïve I was at the age of nine. I recently watched it again and I have no idea what was going on half the time. Robert Patrick was a blonde hair dude who could do shadow stuff. Alyssa Milano was the one the brothers fought over. The only good thing about this film was the costumes at the end.

Assassin’s Creed (2016)

Via: 20th Century Fox

I love the Assassin Creed video games. I could play many of them for hours. My excitement was high when the film came out because it had a great cast. In return I got a film that had ZERO business being on the big screen. I wish I could go back into the past and figure out how not to make this film. The games are way better. Don’t waste your time even attempting to watch this movie. PLAY THE GAMES!!
