The beautiful and gorgeous Nicole Kidman. An American and Australian actress who has done it all and with the amazing smile she showed throughout her illustrious career. Beginning her career in Australia, she had her breakthrough in the thriller, Dead Calm. In 1990, Kidman achieved international fame with such films as Far and Away, Batman Forever, and Eyes Wide Shut. In her illustrious career, Kidman won an Academy Award along with many other nominations. You will always see Kidman now, when you go to an AMC theater.

Grace Stewart- The Others (2001)

Via: StudioCanal

In one of the few horror movies that Kidman plays a distress mother of two children who move into a creepy ass house. Her children are also creepy as they can’t be around any sunlight. Maybe they are vampires? Kidman is outstanding in her role as she captures the fear and distress of a mother. Let me tell you that the ending has a great twist.

Ada Monroe- Cold Mountain (2003)

Via: Miramax Films

In a film that tells the story much like the Odyssey. Law’s character is a wounded Civil War deserter who journeys back to the love of his life played by Kidman. Kidman to me was over the top with her Southern accent and her, “oh I don’t know how to survive” attitude. It just felt like she was trying a little way too hard. She begins as a petite woman who becomes harden when her father passes away.

Virginia Woolf- The Hours (2002)

Via: Miramax Films

Nicole Kidman as Virginia Woolf highlighted this film. It had to be the freakin nose because it was a distraction. I will say that she was the strongest of the three women. She showed how much of a mental illness Virgina had but also the fear she has within herself to live and be happy. Kidman did an outstanding job and I really enjoyed watching her in this role.

Dr. Julia Kelly- The Peacemaker (1997)

Via: DreamWorks Pictures

The Peacemaker might not be the greatest films but I want to say that it is entertaining. What more can you want than George Clooney and Nicole Kidman trying to stop a nuclear bomb heading into evil hands. Kidman holds her own with Clooney and sometimes tell it how it is.

Satine- Moulin Rouge! (2001)

Via: 20th Century Fox

This film was a strong musical in the 2000s. The music is upbeat, the scenes are stylish and has so much style and sass. The story is extremely compelling with some notable characters. The story tells of an English poet who falls in love and starts a relationship with cabaret actress Satine. Kidman is sexy and everything you want and dream of.

Alice Harford- Eyes Wide Shut (1999)

Via: Warner Bros

In Stanley Kubrick’s exotic thriller, Kidman starred alongside her husband at the time, Tom Cruise. The film centers around Cruise’s character who goes down an erotic adventure. Kidman is quite sexy and seductive in this role as she reveals she contemplated having an affair. This news sends the main character down a night-long adventure. Better love your woman because Kidman is beautiful in this role.

Shannon Christie- Far and Away (1992)

Via: Universal Pictures

Once again, starring alongside Cruise, the pair play Irish immigrants seeking to make a fortune in 1890s America, before taking part in a legendary land run. I have to give it to the pair; they had that Irish accent going. Would make Jacksepticeye blush. Kidman’s performance is strong as she plays a naïve woman who follows a man and wanting to make it in America.

Rae Ingram- Dead Calm (1989)

Via: Warner Bros

This was a surprise film for me. In this intense psychological thriller. Kidman’s character goes through a terrifying experience while on vacation. Makes you never want to go on vacation ever again. Homegirl gets kidnapped and has a broken marriage. One of her last films she worked in Australia, Kidman made sure to bring her A game. Also, the ending scene is crazy.

Gillian Owens- Practical Magic (1998)

Starring alongside Sandra Bullock, the play sisters who are from a long line of witches. They deal with a family curse and were raised by their aunts who taught them the uses of practical magic. Kidman is the fun one of the sisters. She is playful and knows how to have a good time but is in an abusive relationship. I hope that Kidman can play more of these roles.

Herself- AMC commercial

Might not be a movie. Hey, if you love movies as much as I do, Kidman says it all about why going to the movies is great. Keep making those AMC commercials Kidman because I will be right there to watch them and enjoy.
