The beautiful Sandra Bullock has made a great career so far and nothing can stop her. Bullock started receiving attention in Demolition Man. It wasn’t until the monster hit, Speed where she started establishing herself as a leading lady. Through her career, Bullock has played an FBI agent, astronaut,  a computer genius, and many other roles. She won the coveted Academy Award for her sassy portrayal of a football loving mom.

Annie Porter- Speed (1994)

Via: 20th Century Fox

Bullock was outstanding as the wildcat who drove the bus in this AMAZING action thriller. When a bus is rigged by a terrorist to explode if its speed falls below 50 miles per hour, shit gets real. Starring alongside Keanu Reeves, Bullock is a perfect casting as she is sassy, loving and can drive that metro bus without any problems.

Leigh Anne Tuohy- The Blind Side (2009)

Via: Warner Bros. Pictures

Bullock gives an amazing performance as Leigh Anne Tuohy. Bullock was the best part of the whole movie and held the movie together. It got to the point where you would rather see what comes out of Bullock’s mouth than anything else.

Gracie Hart- Miss Congeniality (2000)

Bullock is hilarious in this comedy as an FBI tomboy who must go undercover as a contestant when a terrorist threatens to bomb the Miss United States pageant. Watching Bullock and Caine work together and show her the ways of being a beauty queen is top notch. The best part is when she trips while walking in high heels.

Lenina Huxley- Demolition Man (1993)

Via: Warner Bros

When Bullock was getting her start, she played the spunky Lenina Huxley. Bullock was cheery and didn’t have a mean bone in her body. Bullock brightens up the screen with her smile and personality. Hearing her curse as Huxley is hilarious as it seemed out of place for her character.

Dr. Ryan Stone- Gravity (2013)

Via: Warner Bros

Want to talk about an intense movie, Gravity is it. Bullock was fantastic in this role as she pretty much acted by herself throughout the whole film. Bullock’s performance kept you on the edge of your seat. There is nothing scarier than floating through space alone with only your thoughts and fear that you might not make it back to Earth.

Lucy Eleanor Moderatz- While You Were Sleeping (1995)

Via: Buena Vista Pictures

Bullock plays Lucy, who is a lonely fare token collector for the Chicago Transit Authority. One day she saves her crush from an oncoming Chicago train after a group of muggers push him on the tracks. Dude falls in a coma and she convinces his family that they are going to get married. What is cute about this movie is the chemistry between Bullock and Pullman. Bullock is cute and funny as she tries to navigate her feelings for the other brother.

Special Agent Sarah Ashburn- The Heat (2013)

Via: 20th Century Fox

The plot of this film is meh as it centers around FBI Special Agent Sarah Ashburn and Boston Detective Shannon Mullins, who must take down a mobster in Boston. That being said, the chemistry and performances of Bullock and McCarthy are outstanding. Bullock is funny as this hard nose FBI agent. When she meets McCarthy’s character, all hell breaks loose.

Angela Bennett- The Net (1995)

Via: Sony Pictures Releasing

It has been years since I’ve seen this film. When remote work was possible and new, Bullock plays Angela Bennett, a systems analyst and remote worker. Her interpersonal relationships are almost nonexistent as she does everything completely online and on the phone. When one of her co-workers is murdered, Bennett is framed. She must prove that she is not the one who did it. Straight up old school movie that should be watched.

Ellen Roark- A Time to Kill (1996)

Via: Warner Bros

An intense fil where a ten-year-old African American girl Tonya Hailey is abducted, raped, and beaten by two local white men and her father guns them down in revenge. The film has a memorable scene from Samuel L. Jackson. His defense attorney is Matthew McConaughey’s character. Bullock plays Roark, a law student who helps in defending Jackson’s character.

Malorie Hayes- Bird Box (2018)

Via: Netflix

The film that started a challenge around the world. Bullock plays Malorie as she tried to protect herself and two children from entities which cause people who look at them to die by suicide. Bullock made sure to have her eyes covered even as she rowed down a river. It’s pretty crazy to watch but once again, no need to do the challenge.
