If there is a femme fatale to die for it has to be Sharon Stone as Catherine Tramell from Basic Instinct. Lord have mercy, was Stone beautiful, manipulative and had more sex appeal that any man would want. Yet, no matter how beautiful Catherine is, if homegirl gets her hands on an ice pick, she will stab you to death and then write about it in a book. She will get away wit it also. Homegirl has some major skills. I love me some Sharon Stone, but I’m staying away from her in this movie. You know you have an amazing villain when all males and females just fall head over heels for her.
Catherine is a successful, wealthy and gorgeous heiress and successful crime novelist. She becomes a suspect in a murder after the violent stabbing death of a washed up rock musician, Johnny Boz. Johnny seemed to get off before going to the great beyond. In the film, Nick tries to solve the case but is manipulated into things. Catherine is a psychopath who has narcissistic personality disorder.
Catherine knows how to bend anyone to her will. While being interrogated, in a legendary scene, she wears a short dress and lets anyone get a peak. She loves to have rough sex making anyone think they are in charge when they are not. She seems to have an attitude that she doesn’t care which makes people want her even more. Lord help you if you fall in love with this woman.
