If you are an anime fan like me, one of the biggest and iconic villains must be Freiza from the Dragon Ball franchise. Dragon Ball has many villains, but Frieza reigns supreme over all of them. He is the main antagonist of his own saga and is depicted as an unbeatable and most powerful being in the universe as a galactic tyrant. Frieza is considered so important to the franchise that he serves as the main force of many of the events in the story from blowing up Planet Vegeta to being the one where Goku goes Super Sayian. This is one fearsome villain.
Frieza has more forms than the latest iPhone. Frieza is a lizard-like alien who considers himself a changeling. He lets his DBZ crew that he has four forms but ultimately obtains a fifth form. Frieza’s first form is what we are introduced to. He is very short with two black horns and a long tail with a purple spike at the end of it. He wears Sayian armor in this form with his voice on the feminine side. When Frieza transforms to his second form, he is far bigger and taller. His horns extend out like bull horns and his voice becomes more masculine and deeper. He looks like his father. In his third form, Frieza head becomes longer looking like a xenomorph. He has four white horns and has a duck looking face and something that looks like extended shoulder pads. He seems a lot stockier while his voice is a mixture between the first two forms. When Frieza transforms into his true form, he looks less intimidating but the dude has a power level that is beyond anything anyone can imagine. He is taller than his first form but this time around is completely white which has become his skin and has purple spots on him with no horn with his tail having no spikes. In this form, he can varies his power level from 0-99%. When Frieza goes all out to 100% he looks like a buffed up dude in the gym that looks like he can’t scratch his back. Frieza final form I think is the form he had in the new series. This is the Golden Form. After being revived and taking four months of extreme training, Frieza becomes a freakin BEAST! He still has the form of his fourth form but rather than having white skin, his skin becomes all gold.
Frieza is the definition of pure evil and being an absolute asshole/dick for a personality. Before killing you or while berating you, he acts polite but is also extremely sadistic. Homeboy craves and loves killing and destroying anything that is beneath him or for the fun of it. Frieza dopamine levels hit high levels when he is straight-up inflicting death and destruction. You need an example, look at the way he laughed as he blew up and watched the destruction of the Sayian home planet, Planet Vegeta. Frieza loves watching people suffer as the takes his slow time before killing them. At his core, Frieza is an extremely cold, egotistical, and manipulative creature. He has an ice-cold heart and is extremely bloodthirsty. He only cares about himself, but he does have some feelings for his family. He is respectful to his father, King Cold and seems to have a sibling rivalry with his older brother, Cooler. Even though he believes he is the strongest being in the universe, he is quite prideful and paranoid. When he heard that a Super Saiyan would be the one thing to destroy him, he blew up the Saiyan home planet. Also, Frieza is pretty racists towards the Sayian group. He absolutely loves talking down to them and constantly calls them monkeys.
Frieza is part of the greatest of all-time villain discussion in the anime world. A villain that is pure evil, loves killing anything that questions him and bent on universal domination. Frieza is the catalyst of the major events in the Dragon Ball franchise. All bow down to this galactic tyrant or have your planet be destroyed.
