Today’s villain is a new kid on the block. The Demon King himself! The terror of the Demon Slayer series. The one and only Muzan Kibutsuji! Muzan is the first, progenitor and king of all demons. All demons trace back to him. He is the leader of the Twelve Kizuki, his top twelve strongest demons under his command and rule. He has a major influence on the characters as he is responsible for everything that is tragic to all the characters. Muzan has one goal: to be able to conquer the sun and become truly immortal even though he is like over 1000 years old. All hail the king of demons!
Muzan is quite the deceiver when it comes to his appearance as a demon. Honestly, he doesn’t look like any of the demons in the series. Dude has more forms than Frieza. I swear, these anime villains seem to transform more times than I can count. Muzan main form is as a tall and muscular young man with black hair and red eyes with cat looking irises. Since he can’t be in the sun, dude has pale ass skin but he does know how to dress. He be lookin sharp! He usually wears a white fedora, black suit coat with a black shirt and white tie along with white dress pants and black loafers. Now that I think about it, he really stands out among all the other characters.
Muzan changes his appearance depending on the demons he is talking to. If he is meeting with his Lower Ranks, he transforms himself as an elegant woman who wears a long, black yukata. This disguise is so good that his Lower Ranks don’t even recognize him. When he is talking to his elite Upper Moon demons, he takes the disguise as a sickly boy with pale ass skin and black hair. Dude loves loafers, but he wears a plain white shirt and black shorts. In his combat or demon form, his body produces a bunch of mouths all over his body as his hair turns white.
There is only one king of the demons and to be a king, you can either be kind and supportive or you can be. What the hell am I kidding, this is an anime villain and Muzan is far from kind and supportive. Muzan is everything and more of what you think a king of demons should be. He is evil, cold-hearted, ruthless, straight up intimidating where you might piss yourself, tyrannical (i.e. gives zero fucks about anyone), heartless, egotistical, narcissistic, perfectionist and head is so far up his own ass that he thinks it smells like sunshine, rainbows and roses. Did I miss anything? Probably not.
Please don’t try to roast or have fun with Muzan because he doesn’t take it too kindly. He doesn’t tolerate anyone who makes fun of him and will murder that person and move on like nothing had happened. This shows that Muzan has no backbone. Remember, he is an extreme narcissist and with that, his ego is very fragile which makes him have an extremely short temper. With being a narcissist, Muzan believes his is the perfect organism and has a god complex. When you are the strongest demon ever, you might as well think you are a god. When you’re only weakness is the sun, you will be a dick to everyone.
Muzan doesn’t tolerate failure. He can’t stand it. He can’t stand failure so much that when his Lower Ranks fail him, rather than admonish and give them another chance, he completely wipes them out. He obliterates them and states that only his Upper Ranks are good enough. No matter if a demon is Lower or Upper Rank, he sees them as only tools to serve him and if they can’t get it done, he will create someone else. Very toxic work environment.
What makes Muzan such a terrifying villain is his freakin powers and abilities. First, are his demon powers. As being the first demon, Muzan is the most powerful demon as he consumed countless humans to increase his powers. To be as strong as him, he probably consumed millions upon millions of people. His blood is one that if anyone drinks it, they will turn into a demon or if you are a demon, increase your powers. He has speed and strength that is out of this world. Even among his Upper Ranks, his powers is so beyond them that the slightest increase of his voice will cause them fear. There are plenty of other abilities that Muzan has that will put terror in people.
Muzan is a fearsome villain in the anime world. Being the king of demons, Muzan plays no games and brings terror to all that are under his command. Muzan has many different forms that he uses to communicate with his minions. Muzan will do anything in his power to become immortal and conquer that dreaded sun. All hail Lord Muzan.
