Here we go again!! Welcome back to my favorite series!! I love great and strong movie quotes. Movie quotes make the world go round. When you are in a situation, you can drop a movie quote and nine out of ten times, the person knows it. This time around, I have some special movie quotes for you. Some quotes that you might be able to use one day.
“Welcome to the party, pal.” – John McClane, Die Hard (1988)
John McClane was having a really bad evening when he dropped this line. Actually, he was going through some major shit. He was trying to reconcile with his wife and decided to see her at her job only for terrorist to roll up and take over. After taking out some of the terrorist, a cop rolls up to the building but spots no disturbance. To get the cop’s attention, McClane throws a fool out the window on the cop’s car. McClane drops this epic line singling that shit just got real.
“I haven’t got time for this Mickey Mouse bullshit.” – Norman Stansfield, Léon: The Professional (1994)
Norman knows how to tell it how it is. When questioned by the police and his other DEA comrades, Norman tells what happens to throw them off. When they still question them, he drops this amazing line. It tells you that Norman doesn’t live in a happy world and that Mickey Mouse isn’t part of it. He is letting everyone know that he doesn’t have the time to make people happy and that in his world, people die and he enjoys it.
“My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions, and loyal servant to the TRUE emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next.” —Maximus, Gladiator (2000)
The first time I heard this quote, I was in awe. Maximus came at the emperor with such venom in his voice, homeboy knew he done fucked up. Maximus turned around and did the whole, “do you know who I am? You must not know who I am?” and let him have it. When someone asks me to reveal who I am, I want to throw it out like this.
