Here we go again!!! The genre that keeps on giving. I don’t know why I find so many awful horror movies. I wonder what it is about this genre that just explodes with horror movies. Maybe its because you can do a variety of different horror movies that are just straight up bad. I bet comedy is another genre that keeps on giving. Well, here are some films that really lack frights.
Skinwalkers (2006)
I love werewolves but this film made me want to take a silver bullet and go hunting for them. This is a shameful movie to the werewolf lore. This film sucks ass on all level. The acting is terrible, and the story is blah. Two packs looking for a child and blah, blah, blah. That scene where the two packs had a shootout in the middle of town in slow motion and all that jazz was stupid. I’m going to give you this look across the street and then I’m going to start blasting. Insane to watch. Now I don’t want to be a werewolf after this film.
Boogeyman 2 (2007)
Just because the first film was a box-office success doesn’t mean a second film should be made if the first one sucked ass. Boogeyman 2 is one of those films that shows that even though you made money off the first film, you wont make money on the second. I really don’t see why this movie was made when the first one sucked ass so much. It is the same stupid story but this time with a female lead. Don’t get me started on the jump scares. My turtle sneezing is scarier than this stupid film.
Saw 3D (2010)
Saw 3D is straight up TRASH!! The sequel to Saw VI which tells you that this series went on too long and should’ve been the “Final Chapter” but really, it’s not. The story is whatever with a scam artist named Boby Dagen makes up and entire story of being a survivor of Jigsaw. While that is going on, Jigsaw’s ex-wife Jill Tuck is being hunted by Hoffman, who is currently the new Jigsaw. This film was terrible with the story being trash, the traps being laughable and the 3D being the worst I have ever seen. The Saw series either needs to stop or get its shit together and come up with a story worth watching.
Underworld: Blood Wars (2016)
When a franchise hits the fifth movie, it is either a huge money grab or the series was revitalized, and we want more. Underworld: Blood Wars is one of those films that suck ass so much that it seemed to lost its way. The story is blah and after a while you get tired of the vampire vs. werewolf tale. This one went to trying to have an army of vampire-werewolf hybrids and it just lost its way. Gotta love the horror movie genre, they will keep pumping out films like rabbits.
Alone (2020)
I wanted to be alone after watching this movie. This is another zombie movie or rage virus film that didn’t need to be made. I thought it was the American version of Zom 100, but I was so wrong. It had similar elements with dude in an apartment complex and shit gets real. The zombies or whatever in this film are like the ones from 28 Days Later but know what they are doing and repeat the last words before changing. The film tries to be intense and suspenseful but after a while you lose interest.
