Bow down to the true and mastermind villain of the MCU Infinity Saga. The Mad Titan! The one and only Thanos!!! Thanos is a being that no one wants to encounter. A genocidal Titan warlord on a mission to obtain the Infinity Stones and wipe out half of all life in the universe to save it from overpopulation. Great goal but maybe you should’ve gone about it a different way. Having a vast army of different species along with lieutenants to obey his every command, Thanos is the biggest threat the universe has ever seen. Thanks to the awesome performance by Josh Brolin made this villain fearsome yet understandable.
Thanos is one of the most fearsome villains in the MCU and his appearance matches what you see in the comic book. You see Thanos walking towards you, you need to run, fly or teleport in the opposite direction. This dude is big. He is extremely tall, and he is almost the same height as the Hulk. Dude has muscles on top of muscles. Once again, dude has the same muscles structure and built like the Hulk. Unlike the Hulk who is green, Thanos has purple skin, completely bald, has small blue eyes and a huge as chin. Dude has a chin only a mother could love. When Thanos wears his golden armor, he becomes even more intimating as he carries this large ass sword and seems unstoppable.
To many, he is the embodiment of cruelty, madness and destruction. You don’t get the nickname Mad Titan for not being cruel. Thanos has a complex and complicated personality. From his past of watching his home world die and everything that he has seen, he is a tortured soul who believes what he is doing is right. Once again, the mission and goal are righteous, and many will agree with overpopulation but the way he did it is far out there. If you are an enemy of Thanos, he is ruthless and cruel and has no problem killing anyone or anything that gets in his way. His delusion has made him arrogant in his and beliefs. When his homie said that challenging the Avengers is walking alongside death, Thanos only cracked a smile. That ladies and gentlemen is a boss. He is such an arrogant being that when one of his lackeys, Ronan, threatens him with the Orb, dude just sat in his chair and waved off him because he knew Ronan was a fly against him.
Being a Titan, Thanos is frighteningly powerful. This dude is so powerful and strong that he slapped around and made several beings his bitch such as Loki, Ronan, Thor and even the Hulk. He gave Hulk such an ass whippin that the Hulk refused to come out. He ruled over his underlings unchallenged and gave zero fucks against those who even thought about challenging him (i.e. Ronan). Thanos is such a confident badass that he never wavered in his thoughts of wielding all six Infinity Stones and he was the only being to do it. Thanos’ strength is beyond insane. He took on Dr. Strange, Drax, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Star Lord and Mantis which is a wild fight. Dude made almost every hero he met look like an ant to his mighty power. With his great strength, dude has the durability of God-like levels. Seems like people would hit him with their best attacks and he just kept coming. Honestly, Tony was the only one to make him bleed and that was a scratch. What makes Thanos a BEAST is that dude is almost immortal. He has been alive for thousands of years along with having insane regenerative healing factors. Dude is insanely built.
Even with his physical abilities, Thanos’ mind is on another level. Thanos has genius-level intelligence and being immortal has gave him the ability to refine his intellectual aptitude to the highest degree. He is considered one of the smartest beings in the universe and his intellect is such an advantage that he doesn’t need to use all his strength. This has made him an exceptionally accomplished strategist and tactician. It is shown as he moved around the pieces on the board from the background to achieve his ultimate goal. Thanos uses his intellect to be a leader among his followers. He uses his charisma to intimidate people but also have people follow him to the darkest regions. Thanos has extreme love and knowledge for math, science and technology. He developed many of the technologies for his army but also used his knowledge in math to accurately predict the overpopulation of his planet. This dude is SMART. Thanos was so smart that time-travel didn’t affect him as he believed and knew changing one’s past won’t affect the future.
The Mad Titan is one of the best superhero villains ever made and brought to the big screen. Thanos is a badass villain with the strength to rival any hero and the intellect to conquer all. His quest was noble and understandable, but his methods were insane. Thanos has no qualms with crushing all and showing what a person is capable of when they set their mind to a goal. Join the Mad Titan or be snapped into dust.
