Welcome back to MOVIE QUOTES!!! One of the best series on the blog. This time around since it is close to my birthday, I have a few quotes that are memorable to me. Some that inspired me from a man who made dinosaurs. How about one from a famous villain that yells his quote? I have one from a movie that had more one-liners it could have six posts. Here we go again with great movie quotes.
“Welcome to Jurassic Park.” – John Hammond, Jurassic Park (1993)
The greatest of Steven Spielberg is on display of this scene when this quote dropped. He built it up the scene so well until he revealed an actual dinosaur. I remember watching this scene when the film first came out and I still get chills today thinking of it. John Hammond, played by the legendary Richard Attenborough, drops this line after the one dinosaur and shows other dinosaurs. That music hits hard. Thank you, John Williams.
“Everyone!” – Norman Stansfield, Léon: The Professional (1994)
The line that made Norman Stansfield a legendary villain. He was unhinged throughout the film, but this line right here showed that dude was really off his rocker. Delivered by the amazing Gary Oldman, you could tell the intensity in Norman’s voice. Oldman stated that the delivery of the line was a joke, and little did he know it would live on as one of the greatest villains’ quotes ever. If you work for Norman, you had better bring everyone.
“Get to the chopper!” – Dutch, Predator (1987)
The famous line from the film. Most people heard choppa. Arnold drops this line when shit is way out of hand with the Predator and his team is trying to escape. After the Predator kills all of his crew, he yells it to the woman. The line will forever live on and will be a meme because you need to get to the choppa!!
