Oh, Tubi, you keep giving me films that I’m not sure why I watch. I don’t know why I click on half the movies I watch on your platform. Probably because I want to watch some erotic thriller or see how shitty a movie can be. This time around, I landed on a film that confused the fuck out of me and caused me to throw my remote because I was so disgusted with the plot. I have seen some movies where the plot starts off strong, and the fucks it all up halfway through. I have seen some films where the narrative starts in one direction and then takes an entirely different turn. I have seen films where the characters are irritating, and you want the worst for all of them. I have a film that encompasses everything I just talked about, and that film is Graphic Desires.

I landed on Graphic Desires because the thumbnail looked interesting. Who wouldn’t want to watch an erotic thriller? Hell, we all have desires in this world. We have a desire for touch, sex, maybe taking drugs, or all other things. Our desires sometimes lead us. If we are talking about sex, we desire to get our freak on. I dated a girl who had strong sexual desires, but she said she didn’t masturbate, which I call bullshit on, but hey, to each their own.

Sorry, I got sidetracked. Graphic Desires starts pretty well and is interesting. We are introduced to Franklin, played by David Wayman. Franklin sits at his computer, obsessively looking at camgirls and fantasizing about them. We soon realize that Franklin has a problem. He lives with his hot-ass girlfriend, Candida, played by Sian Altman, and when she initiates sex, he rebuffs her, saying he is too tired from work. Really dude? Your girl is FOINE, and you should be tappin’ that ass all the time. Franklin confides in his best friend, Brandon, played by Ocean Harris, who works for some app company. Brandon tries to convince Franklin to get on the app he is working on, which is like Tinder, and play the field.

When Candida goes on a work trip, Franklin decides to give the app a try. Franklin swipes left a few times until he lands on a beautiful redhead named Atlanta, played by the gorgeous May Kelly. Franklin and Atlanta go out to dinner, and she invites him to her place. Franklin and Atlanta both get their freak on. If it were me, I would definitely want to get my freak on with Atlanta. She is BEAUTIFUL. Franklin records much of the sex on his phone. The next morning, Atlanta is gone, and Franklin goes home, but his mind always thinks about Atlanta.

At this point, the film goes from erotic to thriller, and this is where you probably start getting pissed and confused by the movie. Franklin becomes OBSESSED with Atlanta. He calls her and leaves her messages, but she doesn’t respond. She ghosts him. That must’ve been the most incredible sex Franklin ever got because dude can’t stop thinking about her. When he doesn’t hear from her for about three days, he asks Brandon to help him find Atlanta. He even gives him the sex video he recorded on his phone. Franklin starts losing his mind about finding Atlanta. He goes to the place and learns that it is abandoned. He hides under a bed, trying to get clues. He even buys a guy and holds up people asking about Atlanta. Once again, Atlanta’s love juice must be powerful.

As Franklin embarks on his stressful journey, we learn more about the people around him. First, Candida didn’t go on a business trip. We learn that she and Brandon have been having an affair for quite a while. Candida does not get it at home, and she turns to Brandon. Brandon is quite the scumbag because he wants a relationship, but Candida just wants the D. When Franklin tells Brandon about Atlanta, this trifling, disloyal friend tells Candida about it.

This is where the film goes from thriller to what the fuck is going on. It makes zero sense. Brandon takes the video and shows it to his work team, who make stupid jokes, but whatever. We learn that the video Franklin filmed with Atlanta is a fake. There were two girls, and one was deepfake. It was strange to hear and sounded stupid. Candida embarks on a quest to find Atlanta and confront her. I don’t know why the hell you want to confront Atlanta. She was the one who was getting dick down by Brandon. She is in much of the wrong as Franklin. Whatever. She ends up going to some chatroom brothel, covers her face, and does a session to make money. She is hooked by the thrill and the money. Yup, OnlyFans, here she comes.

The ending ruins the already what the fuck is going on film. Candida manages to find Atlanta, and she stars in an underground sex film. Candida is pissed and confronts Atlanta about it, where she says that she plays different fantasies for men but has never had sex with Franklin nor met him. Franklin shows up and starts shooting people and begs Atlanta to come home with him because he is trying to “save” her. When Franklin is about to shoot Atlanta, BANG, Candida shoots Franklin and kills him. You know what happens after that?? Candida becomes a camgirl full-time, Brandon loses his job, and we ultimately discover that a company has been experimenting with a program that makes people believe something that is not true. It was stupid and dumb to explain.

That is the whole film. It couldn’t make up its damn mind what it wanted to be. The start of the film was promising, but as it progressed, it became unengaging. If it had stayed on track, it would have been decent. It lost me when Brandon and Candida were fooling around. I should’ve expected it, but when one person gets pissed for doing the same thing, it makes no sense to me. When the company, in the end, tells the viewers that it was a program and they achieved some great results, it made the film seem like a joke. It tried to be a little like Vanilla Sky but went way off the deep end.

I will say that I wish the film had way more of May Kelly. Her body is fantastic and love the red head look. She was in the movie at the start and then at the end, and her character’s change was great, but I wish there was more of her. I have to give it up to Sian Altman. I didn’t like her character and how she ended up. I liked the way she played her character, and she is equally as beautiful in the film. Every dude in the movie can suck it.

Graphic Desires is one of those films that reminds you of an awful sex night. It starts off strong, and the passion is evident, but it ultimately falls short and leaves a disappointing conclusion. We have all been there. The story is blah, and the ending is straight-up pathetic. The two female actresses are the standout performers in the film. Go do your own desires and have fun somewhere else rather than watching this film.
